EZ MIDI 3.0 – A complete ground-up rewrite for long term future proofing. Earlier versions relied on custom ST’s HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) running inside a cross-platform framework—but that environment locked us into an older version of HAL. EZ MIDI 3.0 moves everything natively to modern HAL and STM32CubeIDE. Actively maintained and being rolled out one module at a time. To reduce bug testing time newer versions will branch off for functionality. Currently EZ MIDI MCP is available for controlling digital pots. An LFO version will be available soon.

EZ MIDI 2.0 – Moved customization to a web based midi editor and added comprehensive control re-routing.

EZ MIDI 1.0 – Started as our internal tool at Subdecay to add digital control to analog circuits. In 2019, we standardized it into a reusable module so other pedal builders wouldn’t have to start from scratch. Then we thought other people could use this and offered EZ MIDI CONTROL. All EZ MIDI 1 products are based on purchasing controller boards or preflashed micrcontrollers from us. These are still offered, but no longer updating features.

This is a major rewrite of EZ MIDI. Digital control of 8 digital potentiometers with all the resources to get started.

EZ MIDI 2 evaluation

The evaluation version is free to use. Documentation is for the STM32F103 Bluepill board.
The evaluation version if fully functional but limited to two hours between power ups.
